Toy Day Success!
Thanks to our amazing volunteers and generous donors, Mothers Helping Mothers Toy Day was a resounding success! Together, we helped nearly 1,000 children have a very Merry Christmas.
A special shoutout to Bob Boast Volkswagen for hosting this year’s event—we’ve officially outgrown our old space, and your support made it all possible.
Despite the challenges and disasters this year, the overwhelming generosity of our community filled our hearts with joy and reminded us of the power of love and kindness. Thank you for caring and for supporting the families we serve.

We are SO EXCITED that You Want to Help!
Dear Mothers Helping Mothers Supporter,
The annual Mothers Helping Mothers (MHM) Holiday Toy Day event on December 18th, 2024 is fast approaching and we would appreciate your support this holiday season. Our annual Toy Day has provided toys and gifts each year to over 300 families with approximately 1,000 children in Sarasota and Manatee Counties who otherwise would go without.
Ways you can HELP:
· Place a collection box in your business to collect unwrapped toys from now until noon December 16th. We can even supply gift-wrapped boxes and flyers!
· Organize a Toy Drive for your employees, families, and friends by posting our flyer on social media, emailing to friends, or sharing in your business.
· Make a 100% tax-deductible monetary donation to MHM and have it matched up to $500* by The Flanzer Philanthropic Trust and MHM will then purchase toys on your behalf (www.flanzertrust.org / select Mothers as your charity and
in notes say “Toys”) *Must be an individual or private foundation. (Donations from businesses unfortunately are not eligible for match. See below FAQ to give.)

Will purchases made on the Amazon wish list be delivered directly to MHM?Yes. All Amazon purchases on our wishlists are shipped to secure addresses of MHM staff members. They can be shipped with donor info included if donor selects it, and if so, we will thank them directly, otherwise it is shipped anonymously. These are not eligible for a charitable tax deduction receipt as the money isn't technically going to MHM.

Toys collected - Do you need them packed in any manner?We just need them unwrapped as parents get to "shop" themselves for their children so they need to see them :) We have "Toy Collection Boxes" if you would like.
